Mastering Shiraz Gin

We are super excited to announce that our Tempus Two Copper Shiraz Gin has been awarded The Masters Medal at the 2023 Gin Masters Awards for the Contemporary category.

This is the highest medal awarded at the competition so it's a real testament to our team for this achievement. Our Tempus Two Wild Botanical Gin also received a silver medal.

ur Shiraz gin was praised by Sara Jane Eichler, founder of the Negroni Club UK and panel judge for being: “Wonderfully jammy on the nose, stone fruit, cherry and grape, juicy and bright with delicious plumminess and resinous juniper, heady and moorish with a glorious drying finish”.

Held yearly, The Gin Masters is one of the biggest blind tastings in The Global Spirits Masters Competitions (GSMC), where judges are tasked with tasting hundreds of juniper spirits across different price tiers and subcategories.

From organic and ultra‐premium to contemporary, the competition showcases the gin category's diversity and the producers' high-quality standards.

This win follows our exciting Double Gold accolades at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Singapore World Spirit Competitions so it is great to see our gin be acknowledged on the global stage.

The winemaking team behind our Shiraz gin creatively harnesses the unique wine spirit extracted during the process used to make our low and no-alcohol wines and repurpose it into high-quality gin.
