As the official wine partner, Tempus Two wines will be enjoyed by PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival attendees across multiple events, both onsite at ACMI (Federation Square) and offsite, including the David Jones Runway Show, Closing Runway, PayPal VIP Bar, Festival Bar and the Fashion Dining Series.
As part of Tempus Two’s new brand positioning - Go Beyond Tradition - we created an interactive Beyond Bar where attendees can enjoy Prosecco, Pinot Grigio and Rosé on tap or Shiraz by the glass while they shared their experience of the wine and event in real time, contributing to an expressive art piece displayed in the ACMI foyer.
Designed with the iconic Tempus Two tree at its core, the art piece uses a myriad of data points to capture the Tempus Two wine drinking experience and mood of the room. The ‘leaves’ of the artwork mimic the movement of the guests in the bar and the ambient volume of the room reflects the quantity of ‘leaves’. The vibrant brand colours featured in the art piece are also aggregated by a three-question survey, accessed via a QR code with answers affecting the strength of each colour. All points of data are captured using a single Intel Realsense LiDAR camera, hidden within the bar.
The art piece will evolve over the duration of the Runway Shows held at ACMI (Federation Square) and will be finalised upon the close of the festival. Consumers who contribute to the Beyond Bar artwork will each go into the draw to win one of fifty limited edition Tempus Two Prosecco bottles with the generative art printed on the label.
In addition to the Tempus Two Beyond Bar, we partnered with Scott Pickett Group, Trader House and Carolina Group of Melbourne’s leading restaurants including Longrain, Chancery Lane, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc and Il Bacaro to create exclusive culinary experiences inspired by the fashion festival. Each of the menus across the dining series venues was paired with Tempus Two Copper Series wines that were selected by winemaker Andrew Duff.
