Our Hunter Valley winery in Pokolbin Parish, built in the 1960s as the original Hungerford Hill site, combines decades of tradition with a boutique, hands-on approach. Home to McGuigan and Tempus Two operations, it’s renowned for crafting internationally recognised wines, including its iconic Semillon. The Hunter Valley’s warm, Mediterranean-like climate, moderated by Pacific Ocean breezes, ensures ideal growing conditions.
Fruit from 30-year-old vines at the Hunter Ridge Vineyard is harvested early each January, pressed, and cold-settled in stainless steel tanks. Meticulous winemaking, including light fining and early bottling, preserves the wine’s freshness and vibrant character.
