Uno represents the pinnacle of Tempus Two winemaking with fruit hand selected from the very best vineyards in the Hunter Valley and nurtured throughout the winemaking process. The grapes were sourced from 25 year old vines in the St Albans Vineyard at Scone in the Upper Hunter. Higher altitude, red volcanic soil and low yields have come together to yield a wine with intense fruit flavours.

Overview

The 2013 is starting to show some colour development whilst still holding a youthful green through golden straw. This elegant wine balances freshness and richness, featuring citrus, honey, and dried ginger with aging notes of sweet spices and lanolin. ’13 was a warmer year and this wine is drinking perfectly now.

Tasting Notes

Aroma

This semillon shows bright citrus character along with complexity brought from bottle age. Shows sweet cooking spices, lanolin and hints of dried ginger.

Palate

The strong acid line gives freshness and is accompanied by complexity from a creamy rich palate. An array of fruit from fresh citrus through to honey and dried ginger.
