This wine pays homage to the great Hunter River Burgundy-styled wines of pre-1983 and the European Wine Agreement. This single vineyard wine was sourced from the Hunter Valley's Tinkler Vineyard.
The Pinot Noir portion has undergone carbonic maceration for 7 days before its entire whole bunch fermentation, then pressed off into old French barrels to complete its malolactic fermentation.
The Shiraz portion of the blend has undergone extended post-ferment maceration before being pressed off into a mix of new French and American oak.
