Settle in for carafes of prosecco or rosé, luxe antipasto platters, MaPo-made prosecco gelato and more.
Right now, a sunset aperitivo overlooking Tuscan vineyards seems an impossible dream for most, or a distant memory for a lucky few. But until the end of March 2021, we’ve taken over The Winery in Surry Hills to do our best to transport you there.
The Winery’s leafy laneway terrace hosts daily aperitivo hour from 5pm to 6pm. There you can celebrate the launch of our Tempus Two prosecco on tap – an ideal drop to share amongst friends or keep the apertivo hour lasting a little longer. Guaranteed freshness with every pour, it maintains the quality and taste. Also you’ll receive complementary Tempus Two prosecco gelato, courtesy of MaPo Newtown, with any purchase, or settle in for an hour with an antipasti board and carafe of Tempus Two prosecco or rosé for $55.
For something even more luxe, opt for an Italian-style long lunch or dinner for four to six people underneath the gazebo. The Tuscan grazing experience is $59 a head and includes a glass of Tempus Two prosecco on arrival along with warm marinated olives, tuna crudo and other snacks to start.
The set menu includes smoked salmon and caviar sandwiches; porchetta on sourdough with Tempus Two rosé apple sauce; and rocket, pear and walnut salad. Cleanse your palate with prosecco gelato before baked cheesecake with mango mousse and prosecco jelly for dessert.
Sittings are at 12pm, 2.30pm, 5pm and 7.30pm and you can add bottomless prosecco or rosé for an extra $39 per person.
